I definetely agree with this article. Umbrellas are powerful gun for promotion. In countries where there is too much rain fall, there will be bigger exposure of the logo of the company. This is also valid for countries where there is too much sunny days.

There is no doubt that promotional umbrellas are quite useful in promoting a business. I find that baseball related promotional umbrellas are both attractive in style and feel. Baseball season begins during the month of April; which leads to May showers. Fans need to be covered from rain drops. Umbrellas help protect you from the rain during a delay. Being a fan of baseball- I welcome an umbrella that presents America’s Past Time.

I’ve same thought as smithy and others too. Promotional umbrellas have their own advantages. Before this, I’ve seen that promotional umbrellas really works at golf tournaments and FI race. Many people used umbrella there. For the conclusion, promotional umbrellas have their own promotional medium that we could using it.

Where I live, a famous mobile phone company have promotional umbrellas that are working great as a marketing tool because we are in the rainy season! So basically when you go out and it’s raining (as expected) you see dozens and dozens of these red umbrellas with white letters on it all over the place!

I’ve also never heard about promotional umbrellas. I also don’t think they would be very good. Since most umbrellas only are open when its raining and when its raining not to many people care about what the umbrella says or has on it unless its a princess or something.

huh. I know about this type of promotion. One supermarket in my place use this method. Every time we reach 30 dollar when we shopping at that place, we will give 1 umbrella for free. Its good right? So, many people will know about supermarket and people will comes. Its good strategy i think.

This type of promotion seems to be interesting to me.Never heard about such kind of promotion. The idea that the world will see when the umbrella is opened is amazing. But I think very less companies prefer to do these types of promotion. Never seen such kind of promotion being applied.

Promotional umbrellas can be an effective tool for the publicity of a brand. A normal umbrella or a golf umbrella has a surface which can have a brand name printed on it in a large font size .Some of the umbrellas that can be attached to our heads can be an effective tool for campaigning

I like golfing umbrellas especially in eye catching colours and the advertising can be quite subtle in nature. I would like to see companies promoting smaller umbrellas that can be folded and fit into handbags. These would get maximum use, as the golfing umbrellas can be tricky to open and use in the streets of London.

I think golf umbrellas are the best - they are huge and very attracitve and have a really huge surface area to emblazon a company’s logo and any promotional messages. The drawback is of course the high cost of production and the bulk of the product.
