Promotional Umbrella - The Perfect Promotional Gift
Giving a promotional gift is a very successful way of advertising the company. It is an effective marketing tool that can easily and economically attract customers. The cost of a marketing campaign using promotional products is only a fraction of the cost of the traditional forms of advertisement and yet the effects are tremendous.
This is due to the fact that with a promotional product campaign, the target audience is well defined. Because the promotional product is chosen to fit or suit the target audience, it is well received and appreciated by the recipients. Additionally, promotional products are considered as gifts. And who would ever say no to a gift? The customer gifted with the promotional product would be more amenable to the sales pitch or would be more willing to try a new product.
Various promotional gifts are given by companies to attract customers and to enhance their company image. A promotional umbrella is one of the most popular choices a company uses to advertise its products. Because of its size, your imprinted company logo will be easily noticed. The wide canvas of an umbrella provides a very suitable imprinting space so that not only the company logo will be imprinted but other particulars as well. The contact information, website URL and company awards and recognitions can be imprinted. This is a good way of informing the consumers of the achievements of the company.
Promotional umbrellas will boost sales if given as a gift for purchasing a product. Word of mouth is a very powerful advertising vehicle. Customers who receive promotional umbrellas will tell other people; these people will be attracted by the umbrella and would purchase a product to get an umbrella for them. The chain will go on and on…
Gifting valued clients with a promotional umbrella will ensure their continued patronage. A good company reputation is created and the company-customer relationship is improved. Customer referrals are possible as it is a known fact that most people would recommend companies they like to friends and relatives.
Promotional umbrellas are used as gifts to recognize employee achievements. For hitting the sales target, for completing a project, for landing a major account or for an over all exemplary work performance. These gifts will serve as morale boosters. In this case the promotional umbrella will have twofold benefits, as an incentive to the employee to be more productive and for the company; it will serve as an advertising tool. Whenever the employee uses the umbrella, the imprinted company logo will be seen by other people thus, company brand recall is generated.

I agree, and I think that this idea is especially important to customers. While employees will often prefer monetary incentives for their achievements, customers like receive gifts of ambiguous value that nevertheless show your appreciation, and make them feel special to company, and valued. And they always tell their friends.

Oh yea, a gift given is received way better then something someone has to buy. I think people would probably use an umbrella they were given much more then one they had to buy. The one they had to buy has less personal attachment then one the person was given as a gift.

When promoting an umbrella it really depends on the people and the selection.
If a company wants to promote umbrellas, I think it will be best to aim towards young, bright and jovial people. The elder ones usually have a bit more conservative taste in clothing, which includes the umbrella as an important part of it.
As for young people - the more life and freshness, the merrier. Few are those 20, 25 or even 30 year-old people who would refuse using a promotional umbrella because having bought one already.

I actually was given an umbrella as a promotional gift once. It was one of the coolest promo gifts I’ve ever seen. My family really enjoyed it and I will always remember the company that gave it to us. I highly reccommend this as a promotional gift.

I dont agree with u Sirius coz young people i think will not be intrested in carrying something which can impact them
wat exactly i mean is a 20 yr old person cannot carry a printed umbrella with a Tom or Jerry on it isnt it????
If the same umbrella carries a Bond on it the impact would be different dont u think
Soo each and every product will definitely has an Age group selection but i think countries with prolonged rainy season i think this would be a Huge Success

Rainy days and you are out with colourful pepsi umbrella. Girl comes across to you, must have glanced at your umbrella thats why she asked for a pepsi in cold too. Did you see the effect of your umbrella. Intersting huhhh?
Marketing your products on things like umbrella and bags is quite worthy and economical as well. Really impressive idea it is.

Giving out promotional gifts is a kind of marketing and in this time of recession, the marketing team does need to drive hard. That’s why this year we’ve giving away the shuffle ipod with our company logo embossed on it. We reckon that the ipod will be used often and so serve a reminder like no other.
