Promotional teddy bears are the ‘soft option’ for a hard sell!
Who can resist adopting a shaggy teddy bear when it arrives in the post? Your promotional gift of a teddy in need of a home will bring a smile to many an office worker, and when clothed in a t-shirt bearing your company’s name, is sure to show your softer side to your existing customers and prospective clients.
Why opt for a teddy as a promotional item?
At conferences parents will be attracted to taking your branded teddy over a pen as a gift to take home to children; it’s a gift that shows humour and will sit happily in your customer’s home (and become a loyal friend to their toddler!)
Least likely to be discarded receiving a teddy in the post will be like a birthday present for your client, and they will give it pride of place in their office, it being a rare, fun item which makes a change from the usual ‘practical’ business give-aways.
You can personalise and customise the teddy to your heart’s content, making it fit your ethos, image and your client’s personal tastes. So whether you’re an outdoor clothing company looking for a rugged looking bear carrying a rucksack, or want to inspire adoring ‘ahs’ from the office with a lost looking tatty teddy, there is sure to be an option that will benefit your company’s reputation.
Promotional teddy bears are a surprisingly good value option; mini beanie bears are cute but effective and come with a promotional sash for your company name; effective, economical and adorable.

I have given business gifts for a few years now and the best results have been from teddy bears, all my lady clients love them. Indeed the least likely promo item to be disgarded.

like mr stan had said teddy bears are hard to be disregard. but at the same time its a bit difficult to take it also. many may feel it to be awkward to accept items like this . ladies may love it and adore it . kids may be also of the same kind. but its not the case with old men. so i believe teddy bears are a good promo item but concerning to a small group only.

Ya, truly it is the best way to promote your company. The ladies as well as children like teddy bear. But in case of men it is little outdated as we can say. Men generally don’t like to see teddy bears and kiddy stuff so they avoid seeing the brand name.

Before this, I don’t have any about what promotional teddy bears could do. But I agree with stan. Usually, only lady love it! And now I’m understood why some companies using this tactic.
At the other side, I’m agree with benji too. I can’t imagine when an old men receive this promotional bears. If this old men is happy go lucky type, maybe he could present it to his granddaughter.

Many people especially the fairer sex has a soft spot for cute teddy bears. The bears are cuddly and give a warm feeling. These are good attributes but must be taken into context of the negatives - targeted and thus limited audience, expensive to produce and bulky.

Yes, it is the best way of promoting a product. I agree that The parents will take the teddy bears rather than a pen for their children. The more cuddly and cute the teddy bear is, the more are the recipients. But i agree with Carlos on the limited audience point– It will only target the children and the women in most cases, so its kind of a limitation.

Teddies are cute and soft, many people like them. If the company gives a free teddy with every sale made, there will be success in my opinion. The logo or the advertisement can be put on the chest of the bear, the place people can see the most.

I totally agree with this. My 11 month old son is having a pet teddy from 3 months old age. It is given to us by a pharmacist after bought pampers for my baby. My baby really loves it and he can only sleep with it. I need to bring the teddy bear wherever we go. He is too attached with it. Some of my family members and relatives also start using the same brand for their child. I never realize this type of advertisement works, but it does.

Teddy bear will give a lasting impression of your company if it is given as a promotional gift, but then if you give it to a senior man or woman they will feel bad about it & give it to their young daughter or small children. You will lose your plot of attracting the aged couple. Teddy bear will be very attractive to children, they will be very happy with the gift & will be very loyal to come back.

Another way to capitalise on the cute factor of the bears are having a series - usually a family of 4 bears will be the best - father, mother, daughter and son. Release them one by one with a decent interval in between and create a yearning for the bears in your customers.
