    That’s a very good point as to the year round appeal of keyrings. The best promotional keyring I ever got was a useful one. It had a small torch incorporated in it. I was glad of that many a dark night to help see the lock on the car door.

    keyrings are a good idea of promoting your brand…. when they function as additional things too they stay on the bearer’s mind… like Kayy said if a torch or any other useful accessory is attached it’ll be carried around and the brand name stays in the customers mind. Another factor is it is inexpensive and can be given away at any place and time…

    Same as Kayy and Jack, I like torch keyring too. I’ve few in my collections. One of it, I get when bought a pack of AAA battery.
    Besides, multi-functional keyring also good for promotional purpose because its very useful. For example, attached with lighter, nail clipper and can opener together in one keyring. I think its cool. But, the material for additional accessories which attached at keyring should be good too. Then, your customers will thankful for it.

    This is very good method for promoting your company throughout the year. If you are giving keyring as part of your marketing campaign the you must ensure that you are giving good looking and decent keyring then only people will use it for longer time.

    Keyrings in my opinion are great but only if you are a sales person. Because hardly ever someone is seeing the logo on it. But everybody remembers who gave them the keyring especially if it comes in handy sometimes. ‘this keyring from Dave was very helpful! Oh that reminds me i need to order from him again”.

    I think a keyring alone is not a useful promotional product irrespective of what you are trying to promote. The keyring should be dual purpose, say like a torch fitted in or a small mirror (this might be appealing to a woman) or even a small foldable scissors etc.

    As I look at my Flashlight keyring I just have to laugh. I’ve had mine for well over a year, and I can tell you that I remember who gave it to me. So with this said, who do you think gets the call when I need a particular product or service? Yes..you guessed right..the company who gave me the keyring! Simple yet effective marketing that worked well 50 years ago, still works well today. Actually, I made him give me 2..one for the wife and she also uses hers.

    Though this a cool thing to give away, it doesn’t apply to companies which want much publicity and mass appeal.
    This is generally limited with the person or two. And if the company needs more satisfied clients or people working for them, than wide publicity then this appeals to be the right choice.

    One key point is that although you ARE using it to advertise, the advertising elements shouldn’t be too blatant and obnoxious. It needs to look good, and the advertising elements must be subtle or people will be reluctant in using them.

    Keyrings,i have lot of them.Personally i love to own keyrings if it comes to free product.I recieved many of them when i bought some products or services.One time i got them was when i purchased by bike.If ur business is related to vehicles or something like that then providing such gifts is pretty useful.I got another one when i done a fixed deposite in one of the company.This shows that keyrings have many uses.

    My husband has a torch keyring, and he has had it for ages. He received it as a small incentive from his company for putting in some extra work one week. We have gotten quite a few others over the years, but they have never been used. It’s only that torch that caught his eye.

    I did used to have a cute logo keyring with a small mirror I quite liked. Anything that serves more then one purpose is always a great idea.

    Promotional keyrings with your company logo engraved on it works a lot. Whenever I open my car see that Levi’s logo on keyring. It takes me to Levi’s store evrytime I think of buying a jeans. Promotional keyrings are I think cheapest mode of promoting your product, and effective too.
