I will agree with arrow, please don't waste your money with coasters, it is the worst investment you could ever make for a companies promotion. Even if you make it attractive no one really cares to take it around. It will mostly go to their garbage.

My thumbs down to coasters, nobody actually notices coasters. It is most of the time covered with a glass, cup, mug or whatever, so i would definitely not recommend it as a promotional product. I have never seen a person taking special interest on a coaster & asked for it.

A clever design of the coaster is the first step. The next step is to distribute them to places where your targeted clients are supposed to be found. Imagine a company selling high class jewelry to have a logo imprinted on a coaster handed out to you in a bar. More appropriate place would be a lounge bar or something similar.

Conrad, that is an excelent point! I tend to not take any interest in a cardboard coaster. It feels "Throw away" to me. And of course, thats generally what I do with them after one use. I have to think there is someething symbolic in your company logo being thrown away. lol. If I get coasters as a promotion, they need to be at least plastic. Something that when spilt or dripped on, will be worth wiping off and using again.

And think about the opportunity there. The coaster is picked up, looked at, wiped off, and "Oh, ABC company... should call them to get more XYZ's" Okay, so thats the hope anyway! :)

Well Ya they don't have to be boring but they surely have to be large.. So that peoples eyes can see it..
Don't you think...Also not only coasters but stalls in the park can be a help to promote products!!

Costers can use in multiple places as promotional items, which make them also a great way to make your brand known. Can be used in the office, at conferences, and of course people can use it in there homes too. Where i worked last we also had the for the coffee, and also different for the drinks.
