    I agree, Sonny — promotional coasters works great especially if you are giving away free mugs at the same time. For some reason, I’ve always preferred the foam or leather type coasters, because they’re light and only makes a small thump when you put down your heavy mug.

    Actually there is nothing subtle about a coaster. It stares right in your face when a glass or cup is not sitting on it :) I think it is a great promotional tool because coasters can be designed very attractively and the square or round shape made very versatile promotional messages.

    Coasters are very good promotional tool as it can be very cost effective and also it can be designed in whatever way you like. But you have to be very careful in choosing the coasters. So in my view coasters can be a very good promotional tool

    These would be great if you could get your local small diner/resteraunt to use them. You could give them a whole bunch for free and then they can use them on each table. You could even pay them to use them if you needed to. I’m always impressed when I see a companys coasters at a resteraunt.

    I think promotional coasters is a very good and easy way of promoting your product. Along with a promotional mug, it can always be very useful. Even if the person fails to check the mug, he can always check the coaster, or vice-versa :) Its like a bonus if you’re selling mugs with promotional coasters.

    It is a wonderful idea, indeed! This is an extension to the idea of using promotional mug but this one is so cheap. So if you are on a tight budget yet wants a good brand awareness, coaster could be for you. It is really a subtle way of advertising.     Think out of the box. Coasters are usually round or square, so try out some unique shapes to grab attention. In coming up with a “special coaster” - bear in mind the basic function of a coaster - to place a cup or glass. So there are basically 2 regions to place your message/
