Promotional Bags - The Best Source
Promotional bags are a great marketing tool. They are another way for companies to get their name out and about without using billboards, press or TV ads. The list of companies that use promotional bags as a marketing strategy is endless – everyone from software companies to movie studios use them to promote their products.
But, where do they get these bags made? Do they produce the bags themselves or are there companies out there that do this for a living? Some companies may indeed make their own bags but most of time they are commissioned from dedicated promotional product suppliers.
Most companies that create promotional bags are available through the internet. They can easily be found through any search engine. If you are interested, all you have to do is to place an order, send the supplier your company logo, choose a style from the company’s online catalogue, give the specifications, make the payments and wait for the bags to be delivered to your doorstep.
Most promo bag companies are able to produce small batches of bags quite quickly while larger orders may take some time. Prices also vary dependent on the style of the bags and the intricacy of the printing method of the logo.
If you are a company that is looking to get your name out there with the use of a promotional bag, then you are making a brilliant marketing step. After all, how many people can resist a free useful gift? It is however advised, that if it is your first time to have some of these created for your company it is wise to choose from a reliable supplier like Argon Promotions.
Promotional bags can do wonders for your company. Not only will they constantly remind the user of your products and services, but those who see the imprinted logo will be reminded of your brand as well. If your give away bags are made tough and sturdy, then you are sure to get a longer advertising mileage for that.

I think companies should start initiating this idea into an eco-friendly context as well. A lot of grocers are now offering ‘green bags’, or reusable cloth bags, from their shops. I would care to venture a bet that customers could use this same idea from companies, the way they often give thick totes or duffel bags.

Good idea Oli. It’d be cool to sell or give out bags that have an “eco friendly” sticker on it or something like that. People always like to look “green” so I think people would be more inclined to buy “green” bags.

Promotional bags are quite a common way to advertise and I think they have their advantages. But it surely needs some investment to make them endurable and eco-friendly. Not just to express some eco-conscience, but really to deal with this serious problem.
Ethan, the idea is not to buy the bags - one should get it for free, after he/she meets some requirements.

But with all the companies, I would imagine finding one that sells eco-friendly bags at a wholesale rate wouldn’t be difficult, especially for a continued business venture like a corporation.

I took a look around at the promotional bags and think this is a really good concept. I think businesses would really benefit from using these promotional bags as a way to bring in more business from potential customers.

Do you mean as party favour type of items, Kim? I hadn’t thought of that, and it sounds like an awesome idea. What would you put in them? Pens, small notebooks, hats. etc.?

I dont think the promotional gift bags as KIM said cannot be carried to an Event or a Function personally speaking coz no one would like to carry something to endorse in a function until and unless its the Company’s Function
So i think promotional bags are given to u wen u are in training which my company did and to also carry the materials which they gave us

I have to say that the gift bags are always a hit with businesses getting their products out there, these really work when giving talks etc.

People who says that promotional bags are inappropriate to advertise with are must be from very high society who buy products in boxes. Honestly talking, promotional bags are in reach of common people and most of customers are from middle class. I think promotional bag made of eco friendly material like jute or paper best for environment as well as marketing. Promotional bags are eye catching as compared to other methods like hoardings or banners.

I also think that promotional bags is a good promotional item.
However, you should consider carefully the giving of the bags and check whether it financially lucrative (because bags is relatively expensive ).
However, customers and employees will enjoy receiving the bags and there relation to the company will be better.

I must agree with one of your posters. Promotional bags can be expensive to develop. But as the saying goes, “to make money, you must spend money.”
That is why a good marketing department will need to put in the effort and come up with something unique and eye catching. Trust me, people do not like boredom.
