Bags are actually good promotional tool of companies, especially, if these are sling bags, gym bags, or traveling bags; but not shopping bags, I think. Customers just don’t use these types of bags, it would probably end up in the storerooms, never ever again see the light outside.

Well bags are good tool to advertise your company just provide it all your staff who are work for you they came from home and home to you and inbetween they have lot friend and other person to whom they meet for some perticular way. Its good for you and your company to advertise by bag.

Sometimes free bags are not necessary the best way to go as customers perceive no value for free stuff. A good example is a Harrods bags, well sought after and expensive. Not only the bag promotes Harrods values, it is also a big revenue generator.

A good, strong and reliable shopping tote would be a great product to use.
These days, with the whole “environmental” thing, people are using less and less plastic bags, instead opting for shopping totes.
A good shopping tote will see daily usage in large, public places.

Im not fully convinced with using bags as a promotional product as they can be expensive to make, and you do not see many people wearing a bag with a company logo on them. I of course can be proved wrong, and some people might.
But i would prefer a keyring or mug to a promotional bag. I think there are better ways to promote your company.

The shopping tote is actually the most effective bag promotional give-aways. A lot of shopping malls are giving it away and I see a lot of shoppers who are using it on regular basis.

Of course, there are other type of bags available for the picking. Depending on your budget and preference, bag manufacturers could help you take advantage of the power of these promotional items.

Companies are now taking advantage of these mobile promotional items inorder to get brand visibility and awareness as well as customer goodwill.

I have to disagree with using bags as promotional gift.
Bags are expensive and usually that bag quality is not good enough than any commercial bag, so, the lifespan is short.
Another disadvantage to bag is, people have their own style, some of them don’t want to use bags with company logo, especially when all people know that it’s free gift.

Here is a gift that once again none will throw out, ever! The uses are almost endless for a promotional bag. Its my opinion that with any type of promotional item, the more its used, the more effective it becomes. Go to the beach? Maybe the library? I know that I reach immediately for one of the many bags that I have and become a walking billboard for whatever company gave me the bag!

You just cannot categorize bags, there are too many kinds of bags, one may work the other may not work at all for promotional activities. For instance, a tote or small everyday bag should work well. I feel, a good waist pouch may work better than all other kinds.
