Conference Folders for Promotional Purpose
Conference folders are very good items to give away for promotional purposes. They have a variety of uses and can be seen on most settings everywhere. Conference folders can have many different add-ons, such as CD compartments or calling card slots. What this means is that there is a huge opportunity to add other different products when distributing a promotional folder. Let’s take a look at some of the different options available to you.
As mentioned above, many different kinds of conference folders have special slots specifically to place calling cards or business cards. The number of slots available can range from one to as many as five. Some are as simple as slots on the folder while other will have plastic containers to protect them.
In some conference folders, there are slots for CD-roms. This is especially true for conference folders that serve the specific purpose of being presentation conference folders. When conducting presentations, the data needs to be stored in a CD-rom to allow for easy and convenient access everywhere. Having a slot for the CD-rom is a very useful aspect of the conference folder.
Since conference folders are mostly used in an office setting, it is generally a good idea to include other office supplies to complement the promotional conference folder. An example of this would be a ballpoint pen. It is a tool that is used all the time and there can be slots in the conference folder specifically to place pens. It can be a good idea to customize the pens as well, adding information such as company name, company logo and a company motto.

Thought your article was good and very true, I picked up a conference folder by chance and found it really useful, I use it all the time. If you have a logo or company name added to it, lots of people would see it too.

Thanks for the comment, you are quite right but not enough businesses appreciate the use of conference folders. Yes they are a bit more expensive than pens and keyrings but the humble conference folder gets carried from place to place rather than staying in a pocket or on a desk.

Conference folders is a quite expensive marketing medium but if its used at the right event I’m sure it can turn out to be very effective. Always make sure the company name and logo are put at a highly visible area.

Conference folders are good at events like seminars and job fairs and will have an immediate interest to potential customers from those events. The cost for creating conference folders needs to be understood in comparison to product’s profitability.

I have gone olympics mad, Just spent the last six hours watching it, think it’s the best olympics in the last twenty years, half of all world records must have been broken in the last two weeks, that Michael Phelps is just a machine, what a super human, anybody else enjoying the sports?, I live in South London, will take at least one weeks off work and go to as many events as possible at the London olympics. Hope Boris Johnson doesn’t make us look stupid at the closing cermony on Sunday

I actually utilize conference folders for a different type of situation. These folders are actually great as an add-on to your project proposal, especially if you are proposing to a new client. A little on the expensive side, but the lasting impression the new client has on your business is invaluable.

Hi Stan I agree and wasn’t it great to see all our athletes coming home on Monday at Heathrow, but why do we have to wait until October to see them parade around London in an open topped bus. Surely that’s too far away.

I found this blog on Google while searching for site:uk slots. I found a great offer on the net which is very relevant to this post. Check it out, you might find it very interesting.

Think nobody will be interested in October for the medals parade, surely the whole momentum will be lost by then, it’s takes so long to organise things these days.

Conference folders is indeed a great way to showcase a company in many dimensions. Wtih so much space available and so many tools available (CD ROM, notepad), the temptation is to overdo it and alienate the end-user. Moderation is the essence.

Conference folders have a lot of advantages such as adversiting for the company who make the folders. But it’s quite expensive for some company, That’s why it has to pay attention to their budget and make sure their logo and company name is visible like what Charlie said.

A rightly made conference folder can be really a nice way to promote a company. As of the extra accessories, i think it will also be good to give away a small notepad with the conference folder with your company logo and info on it in background print. This can expose your company a little bit more.

As per my opinion , giving away conference folders can be a good corporate related promotion. They may not spread a company’s name outside but as per the customer, conference folders is a good giveaway.

A very good corporate promotion strategy could be making and distributing confrence folders. They help in spreading the name of the company and are quite useful for the individual who is taking it away .The company also gets exposure to the corporate world.

I like the idea of including paper to the folder itself. It shows that the company has put some effort in order to attract the customer’s attention.Promoting becomes easy when there is an original folder with paper and people enjoy it.

I agree with smithy. Conference folders suitable for certain events such seminars, courses, job fairs and also for meeting purpose. This really important tools for participant to take note and etc.
About the design, it should simple, easy to hold and not to heavy. In addition, I agree with didonko too. I think the idea of including paper
to the folder is cool and practical.

I would like to support didonko views. Because inserting some extra papers and pen would make the customers happy since it is readily usable and everything is given. He need not search for any other extra tool. This is a nice idea dude. Always give the users a higher end of sophistication.

I think to use a conference folder for promotion comes naturally, as all who attending will be pleased to have something to carry around their notes, etc. However it also limit a bit of the use of this, that you almost only those conference goers can reach with your promotion.

I recall another posting on the need for variety. Here the conference folder is a great example. There is a common theme and thread running throughout the folder supplemented by a variety of useful stationery. That is why conferemnce folders can be such powerful promotional tools.

Even I agree that handing out conference folders can be a good way of promoting your business but it can be expensive nevertheless. Although I admit that it’s better than having key chains and mugs where it gets hidden in your pocket, while the folder is carried all over and the logo of the business is visible to the people. So, if it’s used in the right way, it can be always useful.

I have received conference folders at many of the food convention shows I have attended and appreciate the many uses that they provide while I’m at the convention. Once I got a complimentary calculator and address book ikn the folder and it was quite handy when shopping around the food show.

I also agree to the comment that conference folder for promotion comes naturally, as all who attending will be pleased to have something to carry around their notes, etc. it not only helps to make them remind of us everytime they come across it but also helps in making their co - workers feel so.

We tend to use the most what we find useful, and conference folders with fit in that category.
Not only is it extremely useful, it’s a subtly advertise for a company.
It’s a ingenious combination of a practical and useful item along with a means of advertising that has a long lifespan.
