The Queens Diamond Jubilee is a major event that is celebrated on an international scale! The main celebrations take place here in England and soon the streets will be filled with patriotic people cheering and smiling for the Queen. The Jubilee marks the 60th anniversary of the Queens reign and the celebrations take place on an extended weekend from 2-5th June 2012. There are all sorts of events taking place around the country including a concert at Buckingham palace, a festival at Battersea park and a thanksgiving service at St Pauls cathedral.
